A lot of things happened this weekend that were awesome and made me smile. But I can't get my head around it right now to sit down and write them all out. Slash I haven't uploaded pictures yet, so I guess it'll have to wait.

In other news, I made whoopie pies tonight for my work holiday party tomorrow. Here's a recipe!

Whoopie Pies!
1 box Devil Food's cake mix
3 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup water
1 box chocolate instant pudding
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Blend all ingredients together in mixer until smooth. Grease cookie tray, and place heaping spoonfuls of mix onto tray. Bake in oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.

Whoopie Pie Filling!
2 cups confectioners sugar
2 sticks butter at room temperature
2 t pure vanilla extract
7.5 oz fluff
Mix sugar and butter together with paddle attachment until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla and fluff and blend until smooth.
Spread, smoosh ends together and enjoy!

Sometimes I make extra large pies so I can cut them up and they're individual servings. But trust me, they're deeeeeeelish.

  1. I have a work pot luck next week, and this recipe for whoopie pies sounds pretty darned good! Who doesn't love whoopie pies? Especially the pumpkin ones...
