the good stuff

This weekend was full of a lot of amazing good stuff. Yeah. I said it. Amazing good stuff. I finally saw "Bridesmaids" and laughed my tush off the whole time. There is a strong possibility that I will own this movie sometime in the near future (aka when it comes out on DVD). You should probably go see it so we can say random lines to each other and convulse in laughter like B and I did all weekend. "No one can get anywhere in three seconds. You're setting me up for failure." Quality.

There was also the Boston Blogger Picnic that the lovely ladies of The Boston Day Book hosted on the Boston Commons. The weather turned out fantastic, I got the chance to meet a lot of lovely Boston area bloggers and I ate some pretty delicious cupcakes. I also got to spend some time with my friend Bianca and we both found some pretty stellar items at the Second Time Around in Beacon Hill. I've got some photos, but they're all on my Holga so we'll have to wait until that roll of film is up.

And yesterday was (finally) the Harpoon 5-Miler! Our 6-pack came in 57th out of 155 teams, so I'm pretty proud of us. Here's a taste of what happened:
b and me in our sweet running gear.
what happened after race and party...
I'll talk more about that later this week. It was definitely one of the best days I've had in 2011.

But Thursday the boyfriend and I went to Redbones BBQ and stuffed our faces. It. Was. Delicious. Like. So amazing you should probably pack yourself up, come visit me now and we'll go to Somerville and eat until we have stomach aches.
mmmmm nachos.
sweet tea in the best glass ever.
lemonade.
baby back ribs special! i succeeded in eating all but one rib.
all of our food. delicious.
Now please, someone tell me they want to go there with me so I can go back and eat more ribs and mac and cheese. No, seriously. Tell me you will go with me.

  1. Glad you thought Bridesmaids was as hilarious as I did. I was so surprised at how many people didn't like it.
