i'm never waking up early again

This morning I woke up at 5:30. You read that correctly. Me, queen of naps and all things sleepytime, woke up at 5:30 in the morning. Because I wanted to be a motivated person and go workout before my day started. So Becca and I woke up and went to the 6 a.m. Pure Barre class. Neither of us are morning people. I thought it wouldn't be so bad, but at 3 p.m. I hit brick wall of tiredness and haven't come out of it since.

So, to keep my productivity levels high (and to keep the sleepy grumpiness at bay), I'm never ever waking up early again.

That's my story. And I'm sticking to it.

I finally got around to editing the rest of the photos from the shower, so enjoy a few more of the good ones.

Quite the wonderful day.

I just ate too much candy, so I'm going to go crawl into a hole with my tummy ache now. Ugh.


  1. If I had my way, I'd never get out of bed before 9:00!

  2. I also got up at 5:30 this morning and then crashed at 3:30. Early mornings are evil.

  3. I was awake at 5:30 too, but because my sore throat woke me up, not by choice ;) I can't work out in the morning either, people always say how it "energizes" you for the rest of the day- but I just crash!

    also.. naps are the best. for some reason I relish the fact that the sun is up and I get to sleep for a bit. It's like I'm getting back at it for waking me up.

    weird, I know.

  5. good for you for getting up! even if you're tired in the afternoon, it's such a good feeling of accomplishment!

  6. I am really hoping no longer being a student will lend itself to morning workouts, but I know that waking up early is not for me. ;)
