georgetown

Going to DC was amazing; first, I love going to new places with the boyfriend. And, while DC wasn't necessarily new to me, it was new for him. It was fun to run around and do touristy things for a weekend.

First, the important things: what I traveled in.
scarf: target | sweater: madewell| jeans: gap | jacket: old navy
We spent our first full day in the District romping around my old stomping grounds: Georgetown. We visited the campus...
the view of georgetown and dc from the key bridge | georgetown university
my old apartment | the steps from the exorcist
We stopped for coffee in one of my favorite coffee shops...
we need saxbys up north.
And we finished it off exploring the rest of what Georgetown has to offer...
Including Georgetown Cupcake. Duh.

There were loads more adventures, so stay tuned for the rest...

  6. Yayyyy! I'm so glad you had a great time here and that the boyfriend loved it as well! Ohhh, the Exorcist steps. Can you believe I'm from this area and STILL haven't been to Georgetown Cupcake? The line has just been too intense for me every time I go by. Can't wait to read about the rest of the trip!! By the way, LOVE the Old Navy jacket :)

  11. I lived in Georgetown this summer while attending a journalism institute. I loved D.C. and want to make my way back out there sometime in the near future. Georgetown, specifically, is a beautiful area. Glad you had a good time!
