beauty secrets

I have two beauty secrets I hold near and dear to me, and I think the time has come for me to share them with you all.

Are you ready?

Good.

1. Primer. I know for a lot of you ladies, this is a no-brainer. Primer helps smooth your skin and gives you a clean palate to put your makeup on. There are a lot of days that I don't want to put a full face of makeup on, so I'll just stick with primer. Bur wearing primer isn't my secret. It's the actual primer.

Behold...

Philosophy's "The Present Clear Makeup." It does wonders. They call it a skin perfector. I call it a miracle in a tube. It's a bit thick, so you never need to use a lot. A tube of this lasts me anywhere from 4 to 6 months. I never mind paying more for things I put on my face, mostly because I have super sensitive skin. This stuff works like a charm. I've had a couple of friends with different skin types use it, and no one has ever had a problem with it. Buy it. Love it. Let me know what you think.

2. Chapstick. Again, this is a no-brainer. Chapstick helps keep your lips supah smooth. But apparently you're not supposed to apply it all the time (according to some article I read somewhere...). Of course I can't find the article right now. But anywho, I've found a chapstick so rich you only need to apply it a few times a day.

This stuff. It's like crack. Fresh's "Sugar Lip Treatment" is magical. It keeps my lips smooth like a baby's butt and smells beyond amazing. Plus it now comes in tints. I got this guy...
...in my Birchbox this month, and it gives just the right amount of color. Almost like I had a popsicle. The strawberry kind, not the cherry kind. Amazing.

So that's it. My two big beauty secrets. Now you guys know that without these two, I look like an uneven-skinned, chapped-lip weirdo. It's not pretty. Craig's a real gem for staying with me, you know.

Do you have any beauty secrets you'd be willing to share?
