blondies: take two

My love of blondies has been documented before. I love blondies. They're like massive cookies. So I decided to try another recipe from Eat, Live, Run.

These are also delicious.

Easy Chocolate Chip Blondies (adapted from here)

1 stick butter
1 2/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
1 egg
1 t vanilla
1 t salt
1 cup flour
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and butter an 8x8 pan. Melt the butter over medium heat, and then add to the sugar in a large bowl. Stir until combined, and then add in the egg, vanilla and salt. Slowly add in the flour and mix until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for about 30 minutes.

  4. ok, let's be real, that's a no fail recipe when it comes to adding a stick of butter.

    don't tell anyone, but i generally put a stick and a half in my cornbread!! everyone stinkin loves it.
