maine: a photo diary

Maine was everything I wanted it to be and more. And while I was sad to leave our peaceful little getaway, I'm glad we had the opportunity to go and get a little R&R.
I loved spending quality time exploring a new place with Craig. And it was an added bonus that Toby got to come nearly everywhere we went. Though we discovered he's not really a fan of moose flags.
Honestly, we didn't do a whole lot while we were in Maine. A lot of people suggested things we could do, but we just wanted a few days to unwind and relax. We slept, we read, we moseyed around. We took our time doing things. We never rushed.
Oh, but one night we introduced Toby to a lobster. Hilarity ensued.
Maine, you were good to us.

Where do you go to escape for a bit?

  5. jealous! nick and i went away to maine for one night in february and it was sooo relaxing even to get away for such a short time! everyone kept suggesting we go see this toboggan thing and i was so grateful that he preferred to walk into town, get a coffee, check out a book shop, and go back to our room to hibernate. i love that you did the same!
