#targetwedding: all the necessities + a giveaway

Wedding planning has been super fun, and I'm super excited for the Big Day, but can we be real for a second? Homegirl is REALLY excited for her bachelorette party. I mean really. I can't wait. A night out with all of my best girlfriends, celebrating and dancing and doing everything I love? Let's. Go.

Realistically, my perfect night would involve getting ready with my girlfriends in a hotel room, heading out for a good dinner and then drinking and dancing the rest of the night away. Even though we're away from home, I'd like to keep some personal touches so it doesn't feel so much like we're in a hotel. Target has everything I could want to make my bachelorette party personal.

So it may seem a little weird, but let me explain myself. When I was younger and I went to hotel rooms, we'd bring some booze and drink from whatever cups were in our room. Now that I'm a bonafide adult (or something like that), I feel like I can be a little classier and bring my own champagne glasses. So me and my ladies can drink and be swanky. And the tiered platter? Well, it's not a party for me without cupcakes, so obviously I'd bring those. And why not display them beautifully? And the Bodum French press is for the morning after. Because. Well. That's necessary.

In honor of all of the awesomeness that is weddings, Target has graciously provided me a $25 gift card for one of my lucky readers! To enter, visit the Target Wedding Catalog, pick your favorite item out of the three I've picked and tell me why it's your favorite for a bachelorette party in a comment (oh, and don't forget to leave your email address!). Entries will be accepted through Monday, Nov. 4 and a winner will be picked on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Good luck!

  8. I actually really love the French Press! There is no better way to make a cup of coffee and if you're going to be dancing all night you need caffeine! :)

  14. The morning of my wedding, I invited my friends to get ready with me, and my mom brought dollar store champagne flutes for mimosas. It felt so classy to drink out of real glass!

  22. I would also say the Bodum French Press -- it's the most practical, I think, and should be welcomed by anyone the "day after."
